In August 2013, CCS entered into a joint venture to acquire a prime assemblage of land for development in downtown Telluride, CO. CCS provided the majority of the required cash equity alongside Meriwether Companies (operating partner) and Lifton Zoline (the longtime landowner) to acquire the land and enhance its entitlements. The joint venture has since sold two parcels of the assemblage and broken ground on the construction of a mixed-use building another parcel. The team is currently working towards final plans for the remaining portion of the assemblage, which will be developed into a large-scale mixed-use building including high-end condos, townhomes, commercial/restaurant space, parking, and other space.
